PAPI's Rescue

Its been a while since I blogged. Don't know why I stopped, guess I ran out of stories to tell or rather my flaming anger was no more. I guess if it wasn't for my interest in reading some of the die-hard bloggers sites or read the bitch fights people have on their blogs, blogging would have been the last thing on my list of activities....
One of the things that puzzles me the most is how someone can actually have the heart to harm another living being. Recently at my apartment, back from work I heard this horrid cry from outside. It sounded like a little child crying in pain but, when I listened in I realised it was actually a dog howling in pain. May was with me too and she actually went outside in the dark searching for the dog. There it was lying on its side at the parking lot, next to a tyre motionless.
To cut it short, I panicked not to mention angry and curious on how this dog came about to lying in the dark crying outloud for sympathy and help, while many of the occupants are ignoring or maybe just trying to ignore it. Dont they have any conscience? I just couldn't leave it be, we couldn't let just die! Thank god we had snappy tom (alien and oreo's favourite treats) to share with the poor doggie. Using a plastic spoon and knife to feed it, the poor thing gobbled everything down in within a minute. It was so hungry and thirsty. How could it not be, he was left out in the cold and rain from 4am injured and in pain. Bastards! I practically shouted out. I bet the other occupants thought I was some crazy looney.
A lady came up to us, happened to be my next door neighbour with the wierd husband who I caught trying to listen in to my conversations at home via the kitchen windows. I just cannot accept how calm she was, when she mentioned that she had heard a loud thud the night before. She suspected or knew that another lady from the other block had thrown the dog from the window of her apartment. God knows from which floor. It amazes me how some people can just discared their loved pets like discarding trash and how calm people are when they witness such evilness. I just dont' get it. It just angered me more and it angered me further that she knew about it, and she and the others had just left the dog lying there to die! Of course she got a taste of my fury.
But you know something, among all the inhumane homosapiens in this cruel smelly messy world, there were still those who cared and wanted to help. My prayers were answered when a friend helped to contact a vet who was kind enough to drive over from Puchong and rescued the poor doggie. Right now"PAPI" that's what we call him, is at the vet, well fed and have had his check-up. He has some minor fractures and cuts but no broken bones or any internal bleeding according to Yeo the vet. Me and May were both relieved... we were so worried whether or not Papi would pull through. So far, his morale is low but we know he is a strong little thing. He managed to stay alive after the fall and betrayal from the owner, Im sure Papi will live and hopefully find a new home too. Atleast a home where the owners will love him and preferably a landed property (im just writing on what i think Papi would want). I dont think dogs have 9 lives.
So please pray for Papi's fast recovery and lets hope that he manages to find a home soon. As for those who have hurt any other gods creations...WATCH OUT! Karma will bite you in the ass when you are reborn into an animal. By then, it will be way too late to howl. Unless there are people like myself and May to save you.
